Historical Old Town Occoquan.

Wow. What a gorgeous little place. Right on the Occoquan River, the old shops and the wide beautiful river work a renewal on your spirit like nothing else. Signs point out to you that you are within a bird sanctuary ... and the ravens overhead drive the point home. The buildings, the trees, the great little shops within those buildings ... what an awesome place to spend a few hours. Even with all the bustle, the traffic was like a ghost.

Besides my favorite store there, 13 Magickal Moons, Occoquan is filled with history. If you're in NoVA and are looking for something special you've never seen before, check it out.
