What have I been doing since Saturday, you ask?

In the last few days I've ...

Most notably, my laptop died on Saturday, leaving a huge hole in my heart where my hard drive used to be. Yes, the very hard drive that contains photos of my daughters first moments of life. If any one has a suggestion about how to save this hard drive, please drop me an email!

I watched the Cardinals try, and be abruptly denied, their first Super Bowl championship in gawd knows how long. 21 years? And even that's contested, am I right? Well, piffle, if you ask me!

I began my first "official" knitting project! A "funky chunk scarf" I call it. I've been practicing casting, knit and purl, and I have finally put all that to work. I attended my first knitting group meet up at a local Panera ... where the mocha is just yumtastic ... and received a warm welcome, as well as encouragement and a bit of training and advice about the correct way to do a perfect knit stitch. I even knit in the round for a minute! Not as bad as I had imagined! Thanks Inge!!! I've taken up the sz 15 needles and have about a foot of scarf done. Not without a few bumps in the road but, I've got more confidence to tackle those add-ons I seem to create without even knowing it! :)

While this is all going on, my little angel daughter is tackling a cold. I never imagined a small snoot could run so much! Poor baby! And it gives this mom just another reason to snuggle even more! We also have even better reason to stay in jammies all day :) Today the sneezes slowed down, and so did her nose just a bit, thank goodness!

And last but not least ... "dude, you're getting a Dell" has been playing over and over in my head because, dude, I got a Dell! I plan on getting new hard drive for the lap top but, we went for the desk top for right now and this baby is saaweet!
