Slumber Parties by Jamie is off and running! I just had my launch party last Friday, and it was a blast! I have my next party on the 3rd and I am super excited about it. Even though I am all new to in-home romance parties (as the woman bringing the goodies and doing the demo, anyway!) I feel like the light bulb is burning bright on this one. I had gone round and round to myself and my hubby about going back to work as a pharmacy technician but, I just can't do 9-5 anymore. As much as I love it, I'm a mom and being able to stay home for as long as possible with her is far more important! Being a Slumber Party Consultant is giving me a golden opportunity... and I'm meeting fabulous new women almost everyday as a result. That's huge since my close network of friends, including my BFF, are back in California. I have been in VA for 2 1/2 years and have struggled to meet new friends. No more struggling ... a lot of the women I am meeting are also consultants and are just plain great to know.

My hubby just went to work at a club in DC doing security tonight. My daughter is in bed. I am going to spend some much needed time with myself. The hockey game is on and I have a vodka tonic with my name on it. I've seriously meant to post recently... I've even missed it a little :) But I have some me time to get to right now!
